The Funeral Consumers Alliance of San Antonio, Texas, Inc. (FCASATX) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational and service organization, founded in 1948. Our non-profit organization empowers you and your family to choose uncomplicated, meaningful, affordable after death arrangements. All our services and more are provided to our members for a Lifetime Membership fee of only $40.

Run By Volunteers
FCASATX is completely run by volunteers. Even the board of directors are unpaid. Click on the "Read More" to see the members of the board.
Presentations
We will do presentations to any group to provide them information about the funeral industry and our organization.
Charles Edward O'Connell
September 27, 1931 - January 19, 2025
Ed was a FCA Board member for 3+ years .. volunteering his time between meetings, organizing member applications, assembling and mailing newsletters, purging old paperwork as the world moved to digital. In mid-2024 he moved himself off the Board to continue volunteering on the same tasks saying he needed to allow someone younger to get into the fray! He was loved and has a special place in our hearts.
